The Roofstock story

Clunky, opaque, inefficient… the process of buying and selling investment properties was badly in need of a rethink. Frustrated, Gregor Watson, a long-time real estate investor, reached out to Gary Beasley to brainstorm. Gary had a unique perspective and deep industry experience at real estate, hospitality, and tech companies, having led two through successful IPOs. They soon invited Rich Ford to the conversation. Rich had more than 20 years of M&A and capital raising experience, and was a pioneer in the single-family rental investing space.

With their combined experience and assists from Silicon Valley's top tech talent and investors, Roofstock was launched in 2015.
